Being as the Powerhouse produced energy in its original role in 1929, it was suggested that the sub groups that will need to be formed, to accommodate all the activities that local people have shown an interest in, be called ENERGY GROUPS.

Two energy groups have been established to cater for Art and Music. We anticipate that many more energy groups will be set up as the Powerhouse re- establishes itself in the next few months, addressing the needs of many other interests in the community. We welcome anybody who would like to be included.

The energy groups will be informal, more of a discussion group where people will declare their interest and share advice and information with regard to pursuing a particular event or sessions and possibly start a class in their area of interest.

We need your ideas and are looking for volunteers. Come along to join us and have fun, we all have skills – let`s share and use them. Make suggestions about what you would like to share or learn. Everybody's contribution is welcome.
