Y Pwerdy yn yr Wyl Fwyd Llandysul
Cafwyd ddiwrnod arbennig ar faes yr Wyl Fwyd gyda llawer wedi taro draw at stondin y Pwerdy. Roedd Adran Gelf Prifysgol Cymru Aberystwyth gerllaw ac fe wnaeth llawer gofrestri gyda nhw ar gyfer y cyrsiau Celf yw cynnal yn y Pwedy o fis Medi ymlaen.
Roedd digon i ddifyrru'r plant a chafwyd llawer o help i adeiladu tipi, dweud stori a chwarae gwyddbwyll.
Daeth y diwrnod i ben i swn drymio gan Rachel gyda Pete yn chwarae sacsoffon wrth iddo eistedd o dan gysgod y tipi. Fe ymunodd Paul a nhw yn hwyrach ar y gitar. Mae Rachel a Pete yn gerddorion lleol sydd yn barod wedi cyflawni sessiynau blasu yn y Pwerdy ac yn rhan o'r gwrp Ynni Cerddoriaeth.
Os am ragor o wybodaeth ynlgyn a gweithdai gan Rachel a Pete neu am ragor o wybodaeth ar y gwahanol gyrsiau, gweithdai a mwy i ddod yn y Pwerdy rhowch alwad i Hazel: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
Pwerdy at Llandysul Food Festival
The response to the registration for art classes organised by University of Wales Aberystwyth to be held at the Pwerdy starting on the September was a great success. The Pwerdy stall was next to the UWA stall so we were able to exchange lots of information and find out about other courses available in the future.
Children made a cover for the tepee which was made out of recycled material from Trysordi. They played chess in the sunshine on a large chess board, followed by a story about Goldilocks and the three bears (in a make shift theatre) to an audience who took part and cheered at the end, adding a better ending to the story.
The afternoon was brought to a gentle end to the sound of drumming ,the mellow sound from the saxophone accompanied by guitar. The wonderful sound drifted into the air as the event came to an end. Rachel and Pete are local musicians and are part of the Music Energy group at Y Pwerdy. They had performed a drumming and jamming session at the successful taster session day on the 8th May.
