The book looks at life in a vicarage through the eyes of the vicar’s newly retired teacher wife.  It is set in an imaginary Welsh town called Rhydbrychan.

Divided into three parts looking at the years 2001, 2002 and 2004. Each part contain 2—3 chapters written over 228 pages. The book is written in a very light hearted way.

All the characters who are fictional, but must be based on members of  a real church  members and local community.

We have an insight in what life and responsibilities of being married to a vicar and having an open door through which  the parishioners are constantly walking  through is like.

A very enjoyable  and a thoroughly recommended read.
